Motivational interviewing and substance misuse : DVD and resource CD

Motivational interviewing resource. This learning resource is designed primarily for people who already understand and practice motivational interviewing and want materials to help them to teach others. This resource gathers together video clips produced over a number of years by Pip Mason Consultancy relating to drug and alcohol problems. These portray six counselling or key working situations with people who have drug or alcohol related problems (over 90 minutes of video material). On the accompanying CD is a series of worksheets to be completed while watching the DVD. The worksheets draw attention to how the principles of motivational interviewing are being demonstrated in each video.As well as trainers, individual students may find these materials useful.
