A "can't put down book", so informative, and how she writes is articulated so well, without judgement - just facts and feelings of sadness for the hatred experienced. It really is a must read for Black British history, and I love that about it - she comments on the overriding of Black British history - because we hear so much about American black history.

Young boys and girls really need to read this book, for the reality of change required and only the ones experiencing it can make the change, but recognising it is hard work and has to be a passion drive or you will give up and think what's the point. She even speaks of the "system". Honestly, you really will enjoy this book.
