Part of a documentary series about life in London's National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. In this part, actor Ross Davidson was diagnosed in 2005 with an aggressive brain tumour. As a last chance in his battle against cancer, Ross is offered experimental treatment to try to kill the tumour using light. Lois has to decide whether to have a high risk operation in the hope of curing her epilepsy. Oluyinka is waiting for an operation which could cure her of a rare disease which has affected her hormones
