The second edition of this textbook of spatial epidemiology has been updated and expanded. Although it is focused on the US much of the material will be of interest to those working in the UK. It features expanded coverage of methods and modelling, the use of global positioning systems (GPS), social media, online data, spatial autocorrelation and agent-based spatial models. It is divided into two parts. Part one looks at methods. Part two looks at connecting neighbourhoods and health outcomes; designing healthier built environments; food environment and health; spatial stigma and health; residential segregation and health.
