<span style="font-size: 8pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="line-height: 22.5px;">In September, 2007, a 69-year-old woman was woken by severe pain in the upper part of her back. She was short of breath. She had never had a similar pain before. She called the ambulance, which brought her to our emergency department. We noted her history of hypertension, for which she took nifedipine, methyldopa, lisinopril, and co-amilofruse; 18 years before, she had had a left mastectomy, with axillary-node clearance, for breast cancer.</span></span></span>
